Laura, sometimes rejection can stick around for a lifetime. I never minded a rejection where someone said in a kind way that the chemistry was not right. But when being treated in a humiliating way by someone I had a crush on, really has bothered me (only my whole life). If this thought occurs to me now, I just think and say to myself that karma will take care of it.
