Ornamental Laughter
Missy is an only child with no kids of her own.
She’s never been inconvenienced for long.
She sets her own agenda by following whatever is trending on social media.
She learned about relationships from watching reality TV.
She knows all about Mercury in retrograde and the color of her chakras.
She was married briefly, but didn’t like the hours.
She loves cuddly animals and generally feels good about herself.
She’s a gluten-free vegan who drinks a green smoothie every morning.
She recycles, composts and donates cat litter to the local animal shelter.
She reads O Magazine and considers herself well-informed.
She takes spin, Pilates, Cross Fit and yoga classes.
She’s never known a moment of self-doubt.
She has confidence when she embarks upon safe adventures.
She favors the ambience of quiet coffee shops for first dates.
She’ll speak with great authority about meaningful causes.
She espouses noble sentiments, and the allure of exploring distant shores;
She has never strayed far from shallow water herself.
She’s never been inconvenienced for long.
Missy is an only child with no kids of her own.
When she’s at a loss for words, she adorns herself with ornamental laughter.
