Origin and Meaning of Poetry
Where does my poetry come from?
Mostly my life.
Experiences as a child, a mother, a wife
If any poet tells you, their poems form from a random thought
Should you believe them?
Probably not
The only thing that comes from nowhere, simply is nothing
All poems have a beginning, they all come from
Something
Wherever they originate though, from them readers glean
Different life lessons
as they discern what they do mean
And that is what's fantastic
Nothing is neater
That the meanings are different for each and every reader
