Orchid

Soft as warm rain
Drenching pale orchids,
Onto your breasts
Cascades velvet hair
While flesh you have bared
And pert, anxious visage
Lend warmth to this night
Of candlelight flicker;
Your eyes, with coy glint,
Peer up, acquiesce:
Lips quiver, commune,
Our prelude to love,
	A delicate orchid
	Drenched softly by rain.

So soft and romantically beautiful. You have painted the essence of pure love and desire with your words David. This I an enchanting write.

Oh I love writing with a twist to draw the reader in then write something totally different to what is expected - my poem 'desire' is an example lol:-) hugs Jan xx
