ORCHARD PATH

apples loosen from branches with the soft thud of certainty. nothing dramatic~ just fruit completing its journey from skyward reach to earth’s open palm. I walk the path and feel myself ripen too.

Fresh apples from the tree. Nothing compares. That peaceful walk feeling yourself growing ripening with greater control.

Dear Sara, There’s such a grounded, peaceful reassurance in how you view the passage of time and not as a harsh drop or an ending, but as a gentle, natural completion. Turning a solitary walk through an orchard into a reflection on ripening yourself gives the whole piece a wonderful, unhurried grace. Blessings, Daniel
