Orange Sky

Last night... I dreamed of a puzzle with too many pieces, A heart with too little love, and a life with too little time Then, I laid my sorrow in the grass An offering of nightmares in exchange for hope I wept...He smiled And from my pallet of darkness, He painted the sun in an orange morning sky, Bursting through the trees into a burning heart of gratitude I was renewed, reborn into a new day of grace...of mercy I cannot escape this relentless love, I cannot fathom its depth or beauty, I can only embrace the unspeakable secrets that penetrate my deep shadows Like light exploding through cracks in the soul, It consumes my night and illumines my way!
