Orange

Orange

(In California where apples are abundant
Here’s what they say)

When a moon hits your eye like a big tangerine
That’s orange
When the world seems to gleam like you have too much time
That’s orange
Bells will clang
And you’ll sing “Good Morning”

When you dance with a wide smile on your face
You're in love
When you swim in a dream wearing orange and you know you’re happy
Excuse me, but back in old California
That’s orange

Neither easy to write, nor to explain, But it was inspired. I think it's good!
