Optimistic

Optimistic

Being alive is war
We often pray not to die young
Yet battle up battle
We live our lives in destitution
We stretch arm to feed
Yet we are part of the globe
We unable to sleep
In warm of our love ones
We sleep where we are after the day roughen
A terrible life indeed
We accept our destiny
With optimism for a better future

Unless we have lived through what you have lived we can not truly imagine. I have had what I classed as poverty but it was nothing like you have gone through. Keep writing my friend Some day the world will be a better place. Blessings Edith

Thank you Emile, It seems you feel their pain as I feel, at times when I think of those people I often weep for them, this is happening due to my jaunt to a village a few months ago; their style of living there is very worse, I can't even compare it. However I have take my part to speak for them and I will always will. I believe doing this will stimulate people to give thanks to God for their present state and they will know those kind of people still exist.

Powerful well constructed piece, this is so touched, so emotive, so sad. It is not too late to forgive then, you only have to count it as destiny .. Excellent write.........AM.

This poem is majestic in its expression, I wish however insincere this sounds, that one day you will sleep in peace and comfort, and love.

It is ok if you don't abide with me SKAT this might be because you have not see or heard someone experience of abject poverty, style of living of those people is not good at all. Being alive for them is war because of what they are going through. Thank you for your comment and love always.....stay blessed.........A.M.
