OPPOSITES IN LOVE

I admire your peaceful ways 
The way you smile the way you pray
You admire my warrior spirit
I smile a while just to hear this

You are a morning bird so free
You wake before sun all cheery
I am a night owl and I stay up late
Writing poems and songs to celebrate

You like purring cats and I like furry dogs
You are neat as a tack and I'm a bit of a hog
You sleep light and I like brown log
You by my side turns a princess from frog

I'm an introvert with moments of flair
You are a social butterfly with amazing hair
Together we are good we laugh and we cry
Our differences are like the pieces of a puzzle called life
