Opposites Attract

When one excites
 the other calms.
When one is worried
  the other soothes.
When one is rough
  the other smooths.

We go together
  like sweet and sour.
We're the same
  yet different too.
We can't fit in
  the same shoes.

But we like the sky
  and the stars above.
And we both like
  being in love.
We share our cookies
  and our milk
Because he likes the chocolate
  and I like the cream.
And we both dare to dream.

If I'm sad
  he makes me laugh.
If he's mad
  I act daft.
I like red
  and he likes blue.
Together we make 
  a lovely purple hue.

If I'm broken
  he fixes me up.
I'm the sugar
  in his cup.
We come together
  whatever we do.
Like a plus and a minus
  we stick like glue.

He hypnotizes
  and I magnetizes
Cause opposites attract
  and that's a fact!
