Opportunities A niche where hearts are pulsating, Naught per romance, just a named else, Craved sought fortune whilst this waiting, Since pockets reveal relaxed belts, Jeopardy match struck near seconds A drawn prey of risk worth taking, Parley rouse ere should that beckons, Monies heaped, a slice of staking, What class piques out, tis be benign, Tis quiz of fate its aim be won, Midst punctured eyes those shuttered, blind, Till be, zero hid, neath that sun, Ere tis performed, its role in sport, Gain or lose, as heartbeats purport. 2020 March 12 *Honorable Mention* STRAND CHOICE E any theme any form ~~Brian Strand Howmanysyllables; 14 lines x 8 syllables per = 112 syllables total
