Why do families like to hurt each other? They fight sister and brother No one is totally right Yet they feel they must fight For an idea both have in mind Yet no one will ever find That they are totally right But yet there must be a fight To prove who is best And to forget all the rest Someday they will both be gone And no one will remember who was wrong We need to forget our pride And hold our arms out wide To love and forget and forgive Because no one needs to be vindictive

A sad reality. I have found letting others be right is the best way to maintain the peace. The things people fight about are rarely that important.

Some people just need to be right no matter what. Sad thing is that they are the losers in the whole affair. Lots of love is missed by being right. Life is too short to be so stubborn. Thanks for the visit and hugs to you Edith
