Opera of the Raven

I fly
Blood flows like a river below
I dance
Scattered bones
I dance
Crows feast on dead souls
I dance
The moon becomes full
The night becomes a stage
The curtain drops
I sing
Capella from the chapel of the stars
Andante so they all die a slow painful death
Inert bodies pile under the stage
I fly away

This is a poem of a dark sinsister moody flavor, almost to despairing, my friend but your imagery is outstanding, though we need the dark as well as light poetry, it's almost becoming a lost art so we must keep poetry alive at all costs for the future and we need poets of your quality to teach others to come this dying art. I wanted to answer your comments, The stage was written for an old native legend I read about years ago, I think I nailed it. lol
