Opening the Gyms
The governor announced that gyms
Will open in a week
So all the fitness freaks can start
Improving their physique.
At just one-third capacity,
Facilities will let
Much fewer members enter
To absorb each other’s sweat.
Despite the mandatory masks,
(Assuming all comply)
There will not be a surface
That remains germ-free and dry.
Yet hordes will flock to exercise
And take it all in stride,
While others, me among them,
Will continue walks outside.
