Open Your Eyes
Your eyes they can smile
And look many ways
See more than a mile
But not through a haze
We are lucky to see
Not all of us can
We get it for free
But not every man
We all see life different
It’s just how we’re made
And no matter how distant
Do not to be afraid
I’ve opened an eye
Only to see
It was not I
But wished it could be
The eye in my mind
Lets me see through it
I know that you’ll find
That I’ll never say screw it
If you could pick a sight
What would it be
Maybe a kite
Or even a tree
Open your eyes
And please look around
No matter your size
Even look through the sound
My eyes they will close
It’s time for my bed
I’ll send you a rose
Should I kiss you instead
