Open Mind

26 June 08 8:15 am

Here I sit with my heart all broken,
too many words I’ve left unspoken.

  Selfish pride and hurt unhealed
from wounds that were made from double edged steel.

Had I had a heart of forgivness and an open mind
I would not be sitting here writing this rhyme.

Time dose not heal all wounds you see,
it is true forgiveness and a love that’s free.

So write these words within your heart

“I love you, I forgive you, and I’m sorry “

And when you are hurt let them flow like a rushing river,
it will cleanse your soul and your heart will be delivered.
