Open Eyes

It was never me, was it?
The hugs and the whispered secrets we shared..
The moonlit walks and the intellectual talks,
The way your hand felt in mine,
Everything that felt right with you.
I guess you never felt the same.
Maybe you did, but looking at me, you saw someone else..
Someone who makes you happier than you've ever been.
