Open Doors

Positivity will shine like the sun

Negative just sets me on the run

A smile will add to the fun

But soon I find a way to be done

And I only see me in your eyes

This fact should not be a surprise

For I am ego in disguise

Just waiting until our love dies

Because I search out the open doors

Trust me I have done this before

It's like waging an internal war

Pushing away all the thing I adore

What do you see when you're looking at me

Does is bite and annoy like a flea

Is it a cry or a prayer or a plea

can you see my reality

My thoughts just produce confusion

My brain is a huge contusion

Blocking my path to my conclusion

Enableing my dillusion
