Open Doors

One by one the keys are tried
some doors are meant to be kept locked
others need to be closed and locked
so many doors, we all have them

Until the light is let in we are blind
some doors have only darkness behind
every one needs to be dealt with in time
or they will poison who you can become

Parts of us we deny, but will never die
growing stronger unless acknowledged
All parts create the whole, all of them
Balance is the goal, a lifetime of healing
