Open Door Policy

My door is always open
Come in and take what will appease
You’re certainly welcome to stay
Or come and go as you may please

My home is where my heart is
It’s my special place to be
My closest friends and family
Reside right here with me

I’ll keep it free from chaos
My porch is swept and always clean
Please make yourself at home
This is a safe place to convene

If you’re not happy in your home
And you don’t like what you see
Remember my open-door policy
You’re always welcome here with me
