Open Door

Why are you trying to hide
Do you have secrets in your eyes
Have you reached your breaking point
Left hurt bruised covered anoint

Them with special preparation
I see pain I see aching
Beating back pulled forward dreams
Left untouched left unseen

I see you are ready for a change
The inside proceeding out with your name
Light bright and never dim
All you offer all you give

I see it has never been exposed
Wipe your face wipe your nose
Uncover that beautiful smile
Walk straight along this green mile
Along expectation avenue
Not alone I see pursue

I see you how much you have grown
Not alone and not on your own
Connections have come and they have gone
But most of them were not considered your own

Now I see perfection arrived today
Not for gossip but for those to say
I knew you could do it and they give much praise
I see you I see you today

Stand tall stand for destiny
Destiny has knocked on your door procrastination had to flee
