Open books of living flesh

Short, small glimpses,
But never real good looks,
I try to read people,
Like open books,
Trailing glances,
Jumps at a sound,
Tapping fingers,
Eyes darting around,
Calm and cool,
Emotions on the side,
They always surf,
The logic tide,
Toxic remarks,
Judging stares,
Above everyone else,
Discouraging glares,
Smiley cheerful face,
Always lending a hand,
Confidence radiates off them,
Knowing where they stand,
Scared, trauma, anxiety, introverted,
Emotionless= giving up or angry,
Spoiled, needs attention,
Happy, but inside, burning up like scorching tea,
Little signs and hints,
No one is entirely happy or glad,
Everyone has fears,
And are a little bit bad,
And sad,
And hopeful,
And beautiful,
And cool.

I really enjoyed this and am very happy you are observing others. It helps you to judge people less if you look on with a bit of understanding. You are amazing!
