Nobody noticed her pain and resourceful depression As façades piled onto charades of deceitful appearance She cut a pattern onto her skin with razor blade strokes Her innocent blood oozed a translucent shine of despair In her mind she was not even worthy of scratching the surface Deeper and closer she incised the stark abyss of hurt A bandage here and a plaster there hid naked lacerations For non-transparent smears clotted like coagulated tears A rope would dissect her brain right at the base Her instinct told her that finally a few severed arteries Would allow her family and friends to inspect her sorrows Once the noose had disentangled confusion Dichotomy of body and mind dangled in promise and If all else failed there was a train or a murky gas oven Suffocated voices and remains trapped on the track Over time the razor got blunt and the stove exhausted its fuel The hawser had torn and railways had abandoned all service I can see what you cannot yet dream of in hope And when wounds had festered enough and scars started healing Someone gave her the potion of love hugged her and listened Opacity had become shattered through kindness 21st November 2019

And I thought mine was dark. Though sad, there are great descriptions and this is a unique idea for the contest. I love the last line.
