Opalescent

Places of worship aglow -
Stained glass windows
are embellished
as varying shades of blues
golds, reds & greens
glisten like a noon-day sun
reflecting oceanic waters
in mid-summer bliss

Colorful glass,
mosaic decorative
pictures adorn
tables & walls
as Tiffany lamps
cast decorative
shapes & light
across a room

Magical hues
bring mens'
souls nearer to
God

A beveling of-
of super-cooled
liquid, gas &
silica
transformed
by fire -
Creates
beautiful
opalescent rainbows
