Not in front of witnesses or family. But in her favorite place, and she said yes. He sealed the deal with a sparkling opal ring. It had been suggested to him by her sister. Tina knew that her sister loved opals. They were married for over fifty years. Their financial circumstances changed. He offered to trade the ring in for a diamond ring. His bride said “no thank you” each time. This beautiful opal ring had led her down the path To a perfect new life, with her perfect groom.
