Oops Moments In Hospitals
Have heard lots of stories of Oops moments in local hospital care...
Wrong dosage or wrong medicine, let's not split hairs...
We can be having a laugh, not looking down on hospital care...
Don't take it personal, but medical mistakes abound out there...
A long term blood pressure patient is somehow given a new medicine..
His insistence for his regular medicine is brushed aside, take this medicine..
Before you know it, there is some sort of medical emergency..
Oh, it is Mr Y, the poor man suffered a drastic drop in blood pressure..
Have you heard about Mrs Z, it was a similar case of wrong ingestion...
Racing pulse beats after a particular dosage of that new medicine...
Then there was Miss X, wrongly diagnosed with Stage 4 breast cancer...
The sweet young thing, worried sick at seeing her life flashing past her...
Luckily a second opinion detected an anamoly in the diagnosis process..
Glory be, she is hale and healthy, worry free to savour life's excessess..
Yes, many things can go wrong, from diagnosis to treatment and healthcare...
Haha... when the time does come, I may be too sick or weak to even care....
Meanwhile I take good care to hopefully savour more of life's fares...
Pundits might well argue we eat to live or we live to eat, I don't really care...
For doctors and nurses out there, Oops moment is such a laughing gas...
Having a good laugh is best for people to deal with the daily stress!!!
