Only we know

For some reason only you can’t understand me,
and some days I wish I could wake up
as if this was just a bad dream.
There are secrets I can’t tell anyone,
but every memory still calls your name.
And for some reason I can’t understand you either
when you’re lost, I wonder what you do.
We were warmth once,
but that warmth can’t help us anymore.
I climbed a few steps,
fell a few down,
a small voice telling me to do my best.
And blue color fades beautifully.
I can’t see myself reflected in those eyes.
I still can’t tame this feeling well,
searching a world without answers,
leaving behind a warmth that has no use
The wind was loud;
I covered my ears.
I can’t stay, even if I try.
But even when we’re far,
I hope you’re fine.
I’m looking for a light for you,
because I want you to laugh.
And maybe someday,
instead of talking to myself,
I can finally see you again.
