Only Two

The two things when I close my eyes,
That others never see,
Behind my lids of compromise,
And begging just to be...
Are shades and colors of a life,
That's playing in real time,
Morphing into thoughts that rise,
Then recess in my mind...
So all what "seems" that may appear,
Can take on many names,
Without the lure and the veneer,
The world outside can claim...
Less restraints of time or place,
Beginning or and end,
But only found in your embrace,
In name and origin...
The two things when I close my eyes,
That others never see,
Is everything your heart and mind,
Has wanted me to be...
