Night descends in quiet fashion

slipping softly into twilight.

Blue to grey to indigo, in ration.

Bit by bit creeps in the night

leaving only stars to twinkle bright.

You capture so eloquently the fall of night, Francine! Seems everyone at my "table of four" did well in this contest, but you take the gold star for first place. Congratulations! Love, Carolyn
