Only One

Only one of us got to escape 
unscathed, unfortunately that 
one wasn't me, sadly I'm still 
lonely, you have a family 
knowing this other man took 
my place, took my air right out 
of me, dropped me to my 
knees, another man gave you 
everything that I was more 
then willing to give you, I really 
will never fully let you go, I 
have to stop writing about you, 
our love dyed there's nothing 
that will change the fact it's all 
over now, this is the time to 
travel a new path roll the dice 
and take every chance, only 
one of us escaped unscathed
