Books to read.
Because time
To spend is
hard to find.
Vicarious
Lives lifted
From musky
Pages.
Things to do.
Because time
Is best spent
By growing.
Developing
New friendships,
Interests,
Life.
Photographs.
Because they
Carry on
When I'm gone.
Remembering
Smiles and words,
Drinks and laughs,
Love.
Making plans.
Because then
I can smile,
I can't wait.
Fragmented by,
Trying to
Do it all.
Then,
It's time for
Tea and cake.
Remember
to unwind.
Contemplating
What will I
Try to be
Next?
