Only Me

Mind molded in webbed design, strands of many hues align, strange patterns not unified in psyche unstratified. In its fold dark secrets hide, not known to the world outside. Reticent mind never cares, the burden it slyly bears. Captive of my own making, all my dreams I see breaking. Hurt introvert senses moan, I suffer mutely alone. Into Narcissus I turn, me in mirage I discern. In oasis I find glee, for I’m there with only me. ______________ April 8, 2023 Syllable count : 7 per line (HMS) Rhyme checked with rhymezone.com Contest : Write A Jueju-Qijue Sponsored by : Emile Pinet
