Only Love Blooms Here
Only love blooms here,
lush grows the meadow green,
Where laughter drifts softly
through spaces unseen.
The forest stands tender,
its branches held near,
Wrapping the bushes in
leaf-woven cheer.
Love is the flower
that wakes in the dew,
Kissed by the morning
in silences true.
It opens unguarded,
no promise, no fear,
Rooted in faith
that the sun will appear.
Tell me your dreams
when the full moon is bright,
What silvered thoughts
hold your heart through the night?
Do they wander to me
through the hush of above,
Carried on breath
and the rhythm of love?
My fingers brush softly
the curve of your face,
A touch that time
cannot hurry nor chase.
And when I sleep, still
my dreaming is clear—
I dream only you,
in this garden so dear,
This haven of hush
where all doubts disappear,
This place without sorrow
where love lingers near.
