Only Love

I can see your doubts and fears.
I know about crying real tears.
I know you’ve had your heart
Broke one too many times before.
I know sometimes love can feel like war.
I know you’ve felt your share of pain.
Your cold and tired of standing in the rain.
I know that a tender heart,
Needs a gentle hand.
Warmth and a safe place to land.
You can stay and give your
Heart a safe place to hide.
So won’t you stay, please come inside.
Come and let your heart mend.
Let me love you and be a friend.
And in time the doubt will be cured.
And with this love you will be assured.
I’ll be that rock strong and stable.
I am willing and I am able.
I can show you what a woman
Is made of.
And surely as long as I breath,
I will show you only love.
