Only Jesus
So many people all over the world
full of needs never are all the same
they think answers to be found on earth
but all so wrong playing their silly game
The gospel chorus says it so well
Jesus is the answer to my every need
this is gospel truth spoken in holy writ
needing to be believed as fruitful seed
The practice of this lived out
Jesus is head of everything
for God to achieve all of this
all props gone leaving nothing
Nothing that is except only Jesus
He's the one you've left with alone
this God-man is your only prop indeed
a prop full of grace for Jesus did atone
So Jesus is truly all you have
when you see only Jesus all alone
sticking closer to you than any brother
for He's the promised cornerstone
