Only In the Dark
Soft, down
by the window
I search with my eyes closed
soft, down
by the window
I search with my eyes closed
felt
hard to hear
when you said you didn't know
My stomach drank it all too slow
and I
touch the wet paint
and mark a trial down with my toes
All colors
day glow
The lights went off and there it showed
how is it
only in the dark you know
