Only In My Mind

Only in my mind Will I hold your hand Only in my mind Will I speak the truth Only in my mind Winters have passed And summers have gone by But your touch still belongs to someone else And my soul cries Like a violin in an empty orchestra Clouds in the sky Trees whisper your name The sea stirs beneath the abyss My tears fall The moon casts its silvery shadow on earth Only in my mind Will I admit My friendship has died And my hope And my soul.

Thanks for sharing this... exposing your thoughts through your unique poetic style. Meanwhile, I greet you with the love of the Lord, expressed by John 3:16 of the Bible, "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life." Be blessed.
