Only God Knows and Time Will Tell

Must I uphold my Prime Directive, Conjecture of pressure- The correct Direction? And would my Mind pass inspection; Is my Fate my own Objective? Catharsis of Change is introspective- Highly reflective- a brain detective! For Change I must as Darwin said- Do what's Right, not Wrong instead. But I am a leopard and social Leper; Lazy sloth and sullen Schlepper. Pariah inspired branding of "LIAR!"- A broken, bawling Beggar... *Salutations, friends! I've missed you all :) ~Chan

Sorry I did not see this one before you passed away. You wrote several new poems in September and I don't think I was aware of them. I hate to say "if only..." but I hope you know I was someone who enjoyed seeing you at soup, dear Chan. Only God knows and now you know too.

Chan, I love this form. Each couplet builds strength as in progression you hurl your stunning invectives, intensified by the unique use of capitalization that focuses and drives the rhyme.

A leopard may never change it's spots, but underneath that skin, a transformation can still take place unseen.... Great poem, my friend! Wonderfully rhymed, as always!
