Only God

My Lord, God
How excellent is your name 
You created the universe
And made the earth 
All the same
Your loving kindness and your tender mercy is timeless
Your glory will endure forever
Your power has no limitation
And you perform wonders and miracles
Without the least hesitation
I ll no longer lift up my soul to vanity
And I will stop filling my head with nonsense
That I picked up at the university
Even though the temptation is great
But the Lord as my saviour
In his hands lies my fate
We will all wax old
But my God has no date
Only God can make elephants fly
Only God can make oceans run dry
You say to me it is impossible 
But with the Lord it is possible
Wait on the Lord and sin not
You ll not be disappointed 
And the Lord ll bless you with all the riches of the earth
At a time he has appointed
In the past I was a fool
And I held on to the scientific rule 
My insatiable lust for the daughters of men
Drove away from the Lord
And into the lion's den
But with the Lord all things are possible
The King of glory can reverse the laws of nature
The Lord of Host who determines the fate of men
And he could determine humanity's future
The Lord is the light of my salvation
He is the protector of the meek
Call on the Lord when you are in danger
And he will rise to the defense of the weak
And he will send you help from his heavenly abode
And take up his shield and his spear
He will destroy the enemy who tries to do you harm
Whether man or beast who dare
He will use his divine sword to cut off the imperial wings of the foe
Like the way he lifted Moses
Against the Pharaoh's bow
The Lord created all men both high and low
The Lord will remain even if everything else's go
