Only For a Little While

That was something unbelievable to see.
It was the epitome of irresponsibility.
What a stupid thing to do by far!
You left your children sitting in a hot car.
You stopped at the casino hoping to win.
The kids were too young, so they could not go in.
You said you were going to be only an hour or so.
However, you spent more than five hours in the casino.
You were grossly irresponsible without any doubt.
A locksmith opened the car to get your kids out.
The summer temperature was hot enough to fry.
Inside a hot car, someone can easily die.
Without clocks, you can lose track of the time.
Child endangerment is such a hideous crime.

With the proliferation of casinos, this is unfortunately becoming a common scene.

Sad reality but this does happen more and more Robert, people get quite carried away when it comes to casinos and winning the next one.. Insightful and interesting write :) Wilma
