Only a Memory

ONLY A MEMORY Romance has filled my heart With thoughts of you today You’re so very far away, I long for your sweet touch Upon my cheek as we walk Next to the beauty of the beach The salt air gentle breeze Fill my being with your scent I see you smile As new places we explore, Together on the shore My heart leaps within me But alas I once again Open my eyes to see, It’s only a memory.
