Oneness

Without a shadow,
I wandered alone under the sun
A flower wilting, without it’s brother the rain
The winters are long, and very cold
Then, you came my way

No more loneliness
For we have each other
For we both have the other
So very much closer we will be
To care for, and love each other
For we can see that oneness brings life

Oneness is warmth to keep out the cold of the night
Oneness is light to banish the darkness
Oneness is the supreme comfort when pain has come
Oneness is shelter from the raging storm

Oneness is wisdom to offer you support
There is no windy chill of the night
There is nothing more to fear, for we are one

Our days will be spent
Where there is perfect peace
Comfort, warmth, shelter and light

Our oneness will forever be complete
