Beau-ti-ful. For this line alone I'd like to see Seattle :)

I may recommend you slot in time to visit the Olympic National Park... In Seattle, you can see the Olympic mountains to the west (across the Pudget Sound) and the Cascades to the east and of course the 15,000ish ft Mt. Rainer from practically sea level making it simply massive from the right spots. Lots of fun at Seattle Center where the space needle is located and with its 360 degree view you will see it all crystal clear. A must do, which even I haven't done; so I plan too soon.

this is lovely. I visited in '69 I think shortly after the needle was put up. My dad lives in Olympia!

I wonder what it was like when Jimmy Hendrix was still alive? I'm sure that's a timeless memory Andrea. Thank you for sharing.
