One With Nature
Get me away from menacing pollution and noise.
Get me away from vehicles, buildings and man-made toys
Get me away from news media and make-believe attractions
Get me away from those who talk but say nothing.
Take me where Nature hides above the mountains and the forest
Take me where nature ask for nothing but provides peace and solitude
Take me where the shadows hide beneath the canopies of vibrant trees
Take me to where the Lichen, ferns, wildflowers and meadows dwell
Show me where bears, raccoons and deer reside so I can be renewed
Show me the trees that absorb carbon dioxide to make more wood
Show me the forest floor where countless leaves rejuvenate the earth
Show me the medicinal herbs like Ginseng, goldenseal and cohosh
Let me breath the air of the forest and smell its clean breath
Let me hear the mysterious sounds I have so long ago forgotten
Let me listen to my thoughts without the tumult of the city
Let me hear the peacefulness and tranquility of the woods so that
I may once again be one with Nature.
