One Wish
One wish
If we had one wish
What would it be?
A Friend couple day ago
Ask this question to me
And I know my answer right away
But kept it subdue
It was pure and simple
Want to spend my life with you
Then it had me thinking
As I walk out my door
Will look around
And see what others wish for
Some wish for a voice
Some for eyesight
Some just to walk again
And stand upright
And some wish for fame
Some wish to be on a winning team
I know Ronald and rianna wish for
My knickerbockers glory ice-cream
Some wishes for simple things
Some wish is so small
Some wish for everything
Some don’t deserve a wish at all
People will always ask for wishes
I’m sure long as the skies are blue
But every one seems to forget
That god has a wish too
And we can make it come true
Because All he ask of us
Is to make this a world
With peace, understanding and trust
But we all are so busy
Thinking bout our self’s
The holy books collecting
Dust on our shelves
And before this poem end
Wish a girl sweet dreams
Hope she enjoys her
Banana float ice cream
