One Way
found a way through the darkness
stepping steadily through the light with peace in my heart and serenity in my soul
A place where broken hearts are mended
hope in the wonders of dreams and fairy tales wishing upon a lonely shooting star
Believing in love and longing for perfection
My enemies around me showing the deceitfulness of the world
tongue held fast speaking the truth that women before me once taught me
Following the bad when heart is full of curiosity
trampling behind the devils man wishing for love for compassion
Now lost without purity in ones heart
Only finding hurt a burning pit of fire slowly becoming of thy self
Learning that to run this race is to
withstand thorough the shadows of one life
