One Voice
One minute we're fine,
The next, we're done.
One minute you're mine,
The next, you're gone.
First it was just us two,
Just you and me;
Then there was someone new,
And two becomes three.
Mistakes are made,
And time won't go back.
We're forced to face
The reality of our act.
One became two,
Then two became three.
Three became two,
And two became me.
I'm all that's left,
Because I make a choice.
The love I had left,
Because I silenced a voice.
