One Tree Stands Alone
Sentinel amid the dunes,
watching,
waiting,
thriving,
a bird tower standing tall
upon unending sands
that, roll out their
own roadways.
A green skyscraper
in the distance;
horizon dot,
between two realms.
Courageous bastion
of wisdom...
a tree, stands alone;
testament to Nature’s
fortitude.
