One Tear

One tear, one cheek Life so little, so bleak Hope so near, so far away No longer words here left to say All the pain it falls like rain Soaks the heart and leaves its stain Split in two you stand there left A world alone both mute and deaf Time goes by, life stands still Ill imaginings from a choking pill Hallucinations; the loss of mind To cover up where no one can find A heart that's stripped so gone away For the hope of no one left to stay Out of control, the mind far gone With hope no one will see what's wrong Violently the tears they stream Only to wish it were a dream Life's mistakes, constant heartbreaks Where the soul just learns to ache With nothing left, there's none to take But a hope for love and one's own sake With that lonely tear and dampened cheek We sit alone, so cold, so meek For a love so real, we can only seek And when we finally find it, we'll be complete
