One Soul
In a world of billions
Your soul brushed mine like a whisper
Your eyes found mine without searching
Pulling two distant worlds together
Into the gravity of one moment
Two voices
But one song
Two lives
But one soul
Two hearts
beating in time,
writing love in every breath we share
Our souls speak
in a language older than words,
written in stardust,
echoed in dreams
where I always find you
Between each quiet beat,
you stay with me-
familiar in a way that lingers,
like a story I never heard
but somehow know by heart
Two voices
But one song
Two lives
But one soul
Two hearts
finding home in each other,
soft as a promise we never have to speak
So I will hold this gently-
this fragile, infinite truth,
like something sacred
resting safely in my hands,
knowing silence
could never pull you away.
Because you are here-
in every breath I take,
in every space love fills,
not just beside me,
but within me,
where you will always be.
Two hands
But one touch
Two breaths
But one rhythm
Two hearts
resting where they belong,
where you've lived, quietly, all along.
